From an early age, I was interested in art, architecture and any elements with historic value. I began my career as a draftsperson utilizing AutoCAD, gaining me ten years experience as a facilities drafter. Though I enjoyed drafting, I wanted to pursue my creative passion, so I spent time abroad in the spring of 2003 studying vernacular architecture and gardens in England.

Returning from my preservation field studies, I had gained a deeper appreciation of architectural structures and their surrounding landscapes. I decided to expand my knowledge as a draftsperson and have more of a role in design. Adding design and architecture to my existing experience I would be able to create functional spaces. I began studies at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design and graduated with honors in Interior Design.

I graduated from design school in 2005 and am now taking the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) exam. I have worked with healthcare, facilities and commercial studio design. My experience includes field survey, documentation, space planning, preparing construction document packages, material and finish selections and working on LEED projects. I continue to support the preservation and restoration of historic interiors and structures.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jeremy and visiting family near my native Pottsville, Pennsylvania. I also like to backpack on the Appalachian Trail, experiment with photography and work in my garden.
